Our first round of applications has come to a close and we’re ecstatic to say that  to date, we have received enough applications to fill our vendor list but unfortunately, not everyone met the criteria so we are extending the application period until June 24th.

We have gone through EVERY application in detail and based upon our criteria have made some decisions to get the ball rolling. If you applied as part of the original round of applications (Closed May 22) you will definitely hear back by the original deadline (June 3) as to whether or not you have been accepted.

To create an unforgettable Etsy Made In Canada market, we looked over a lot of fantastic applications. This means spreadsheets, numerous discussions back and forth and lots of comparisons. To read about more specific application considerations, click here.

Meet the Jury

Our Jury consists of an odd number so as to avoid a tie regarding an application and is made up of the Team Captain Ariane Griffiths of La Petite Stitcherie and Leaders Laura Harries of Kaiter Clothing, Tazra Miller of The Tangled Merchant, Winter White of Winter’s Woolies and Karen Jansen of Ink & Dirt.  Together we are a diverse jury that represents a broad base of Etsy customers.
